Concert hall Cosmos
Year: 2025 autumn semester (IV year)
Tüüp: Public building
Location: Tallinn, city center
The concept for the new district and concert hall located at the intersection of Laagna Road and Gonsiori Street is inspired by space and energy—forces that have fascinated humankind for millennia.
The district features numerous green islands, each planted with a different tree species, creating a Saint-Exupéry-inspired microcosm where people can wander and discover the diversity of nature.
At the heart of the district stands a circular concert hall whose concept is based on the atom, linking the microscopic energy and universal dynamics of atomic structure with the district's overarching cosmic theme.
The interior bridges of the building are designed after the movement trajectories of protons and electrons within an atom. These bridges connect all floors, and their gentle inclines allow for smooth, effortless circulation throughout the building.
